Although I stayed up working til 3AM, I still dragged myself out of bed at 630AM to watch SBS’ live coverage of the Champions League second leg match between Arsenal and F.C. Porto. After an absolutely disastrous performance in the first leg, Arsenal had to overcome a 2-1 deficit to avoid being knocked out of the competition. In all honesty I didn’t have a good feeling in the lead up to the game, but I was proven wrong when the Gunners smacked the Portuguese champions 5-0. Samir Nasri’s solo goal was unbelievable!
