Rocky Auto Fairlady Z

Here’s the last of the random pickings from this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon. And since Japanese classics are becoming increasingly popular all over the world, I opted for Rocky Auto’s Fairlady Z which features a single-turbo RB26DETT conversion.

Didn’t get to examine the chassis condition in any real detail, but at face value Rocky Auto’s Z was mouth-watering. Junk the wing and stickers and it’s pretty close to being perfect!

When I first spotted the Z I couldn’t take any photos of it because it was surrounded by gawking spectators, so I came back to take these pics just before the show closed.

Usually a stepped lip makes a rim’s dish look smaller; not so with these crazy offsets.
