Panasonic GF1 white edition

Just as I was about to fly out of Sydney, my father called me up and told me to go to the airport early (he had just landed from a China/HK trip). He surprised me with a belated Xmas pressie, which caught me off guard as the last present I received from my parents would’ve been when I was 10 years old. Can’t believe he bought me a white GF1; thanks dad!

Awesome camera! Did you buy any accessories for it while you where in Japan?

Sadly no. I was going to buy a lens for it (I even dragged Alexi and Kula to three different stores to find it) but I pulled out at the last minute having baulked at the price. Then I came back to Aus to find the local rrp is twice the price!

    Argh.

Yup it’s in English. Many Asian countries - like Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan - have stores that stock ‘export’ models.
